Our firm has extensive and in-depth knowledge of the complex and constantly changing legal framework for all aspects of health law.
One of the main legislative developments of the last decade in Greece has been the gradual liberalization of the provision of medical and pharmaceutical services and the development of a new regulatory framework, highly influenced by EU law. In this context, we have advised extensively on the establishment of medical and pharmaceutical companies, on the substantive and procedural conditions for obtaining the appropriate licenses and on the professional qualifications of all health services providers.
Furthermore, we have argued, on behalf of individuals, professional organizations of health services providers and public law entities, a number of landmark cases before the Greek Supreme Administrative Court (Council of State) regarding constitutional and EU law aspects of health legislation.
Our pharmaceutical law practice in particular extends to all areas of the pharmaceutical legislation, including regulatory obligations of pharmacists to drug pricing and marketing practices.
