Greek Public Procurement Law has been reformed, in line with EU law, through the adoption of Law 4412/2016, which has been amended for the last time in 2021.
The main innovation of the reform is the establishment of the Authority for Hearing of Prejudicial Actions (AEPP) and the empowerment of the Authority to provide legal protection to the parties participating in the tender process. Our team has been working for more than twenty years with potential and actual bidders as well as with awarding authorities and we have argued numerous public procurement cases before the Authority as well as before administrative Courts, including the Supreme Administrative Court.
We advise on public tender procedures in all sectors and we represent bidders in all the stages of the tender process, including communications with the awarding authorities, organization of the tender documentation and formation of joint ventures. Furthermore, our lawyers have been involved in a number of important privatization projects, representing either the Greek State or private investors.
Also, our firm provides advice on the enforcement of public contracts and represents individuals in dispute resolution procedures, including litigation, in matters such as payment of penalties and claims for damages.
