Professor Joseph Ktenidis has experience in a wide range of legal fields, including Banking and Corporate Law, Human Rights and Administrative Law –including Public Procurement and Environmental Law-, EU Law and Intellectual Property Law. He litigates cases before the Supreme Civil and Administrative Courts as well as before the Court of Justice of the EU and the European Court of Human Rights. He has represented domestic and foreign clients before various administrative and regulatory commissions, including the European Commission, the Hellenic Single Public Procurement Authority and the Hellenic Competition Commission. He started his practice with Voutyras Zannas and Associates in 1991 and he joined G. Ktenidis Law Office in 1995.
He has served as Director of Piraeus Bank’s judicial department (2001-2008) and member and Chairman of Piraeus Bank’s Legal Council (2009-2019). He is a member of various professional and academic bodies.
Joseph Ktenidis is Professor of EU Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Law School and Director of the LL.M. Program: EU Business and Economic Law. He has published extensively in Greek and English and his academic work includes four books.
